The Open Clinic

The Open Clinic serves both LGBTQ and non-LGBTQ individuals, in four languages- Arabic, English, Hebrew, and Russian- providing free and anonymous HIV testing and safe-sex counseling in a friendly and non-judgemental environment. An LGBTQ-health specialist physician is also available on a weekly basis, to see patients who might otherwise not seek health services through traditional medical facilities. In addition to weekly testing, the Open Clinic runs seminars on topics such as safe-sex, sexuality, and health.

We perform two HIV tests: a standard combo test and a rapid test.

The Integrated test is offered for free. The Rapid test costs 50nis.

Additionally, a syphilis test is now offered for 50nis.

The Clinic is open every Sunday, from 17:00 - 20:00.

The Open Counseling Unit

The Jerusalem Open House has been running the Open Counseling service in the last five years, providing psychological therapy and social worker services for community members in order to support, to overcome problems, to empower and to enhance overall well-being. A team of mental health professionals - psychologists, clinical social workers, and art therapists- is available to the LGBTQ community and their families at subsidized rates or free of charge in the Jerusalem Open House. It is an essential service for the LGBTQ Jerusalemites since it might be challenging to find an LGBTQ- friendly specialist in Jerusalem's private and public services. The professionals of the Open Counseling Unit are specializing in a range of issues; the intersection of religion and sexual orientation, gender transition, substance abuse, the coming out process, and family therapy.
