Since its inception, the Open House has upheld a steadfast commitment to community and professional ethics, ensuring a safe and protected environment for all visitors. In 2016, as a founding partner of the Coalition of Organizations and Businesses, the Open House endorsed the Charter for a Safe Sexual Space in the LGBT Community, initiated by the Crisis Center for Victims of Sexual Assault in Tel Aviv.

To maintain the highest standards of integrity, members of the Association’s Executive Committee, Audit Committee, and hired staff are required to sign a comprehensive letter of commitment prior to commencing their roles. Furthermore, all volunteers, employees, therapists, and activists are obligated to sign the Open House’s code of sexual ethics upon assuming their positions, ensuring a shared commitment to upholding the organization’s values and principles.
