The annual March for Pride and Tolerance in Jerusalem continually provides an opportunity for members of the LGBTQ community and allies to come together and march proudly through the streets of Jerusalem spreading the message of love and tolerance.  This year’s march was a time to mark forty years since the riots at Stonewall and a time to reflect on the progress made for equality for all individuals.  The event was extremely successful and was a beautiful tribute not only to those who stood up forty years ago but to those who have stood up every day since preaching love and equality.

If you have pictures you would like to submit or stories you would like to share about your experience at Pride, please feel free to send them english.joh@gmail.com

Ways to get Involved

Attend the Event.

Pride is a lot of fun, and important too. Add your voice to the hundreds who march every year for Peace and Toleration in Jerusalem.

Stay Informed.

If anyone wants to stay updated on the events happening around the Jerusalem Pride March email: lgbt.joh@gmail.com

Write Letters.

Pride needs your support, from both home and within Israel. Write to your community, spiritual or political leader, inform them about Pride, the work it does in bringing a focus on freedom and civil rights to the LGBT minority in Jerusalem and how it is important that people are free to demonstrate in Israel´s capital city. Write to your local Jewish Press and express your will for free and unbiased reporting on the event and send us in links with their replies.
